When a Candidate is approved as a Member of our Institution (Ordo Nobilis), we will send him a Legal Certificate from the Spanish Notary, as a legal proof, ad perpetuam rei memoriam.

What does ‘Apostille’ mean?

The word ‘apostille’ means ‘certification’ and ‘notarisation’ It is commonly used in English to refer to the legalization of an official document.

Why would I get my documents legalized in Spain?

If you need to present a spanish document in another foreign country, legalisation of a document will be required as a form of legal authentication of the document by the relevant authorities. We will present the original documents to our associate spanish solicitor firm, to certify the copy of the original and then send over the certified copy to the spanish Legalisation Office to legalise/apostille the document with a conformant apostille stamp are accepted for legal and international use in all the nations that have signed the Hague Convention.

Can you send my completed documents to someone else?

Yes. We can send your document(s) directly to your designated individual, bank or business. Simply give us your mailing instructions in writing via email and we will send the documents to that designated address with courier tracking reference for you to track the mail.

What type of documents can be apostilled/notarised?

Any document issued by the government authorities, for example:
  • Certificate of our titles
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • General Company Documents
  • Birth Certificate
  • Degree Certificate
  • Marriage Certificate / Divorce Decree
  • Passport

Will an apostilled/notariseddocument be accepted by any country?

There are currently 82 members of the 1961 Hague Convention which recognize apostilled/ notarised certificate. For countries who are not members of the Hague Convention, we are unable to advise whether an apostille certificate will be accepted. If you are unsure as to whether the country in which you are planning to present the apostille document to is a member of the Hague Convention then please do not hesitate to send us your enquiry and we will check it for you.
